THE FOUNDATION
In September of 2022, the Sanford Porchfest Corporation announced the launch of the Sanford Porchfest Foundation.
This Foundation will complement the vision and mission of Sanford Porchfest by awarding all scholarships and tuition funds raised by the annual festival and corporation.
The vision of Sanford Porchfest is to be an authentic and altruistic organization that helps unify the Sanford community through access to music, access to arts education, and access to each other. Sanford Porchfest seeks to create opportunities for families, friends and neighbors to unite over a common thread - music.
100% of the proceeds from the festival (collected through donations, sponsorships, art auction and merchandise sales) are returned to the community in the form of covering performing arts summer camp tuition for select children and awarding scholarships for local high school seniors and college students through Sanford Porchfest’s established scholarship funds.
Truly a charitable organization - Sanford Porchfest Corporation does not pay the Producers, Homeowners, or Artists for their involvement in the annual festival. This is a day that everyone comes together for a great cause, allowing 100% of the fundraising to go directly to the community.
Sanford Porchfest believes in remaining transparent - allowing their fans to know exactly where and how their donations are making an impact.
